The Asian Tour is Done (for now...)
Hey guys!
We have so much to catch up on, since we last chatted, we have travelled Cambodia, Malaysia, Philippines, Hong Kong and lastly Thailand! So, let me give you the important points:
Cambodia
We had such a great time in Cambodia and we realized that in order for us to dig in deeper into a country, the people and their cultures, we must be able to have a vehicle, specifically a Tuktuk! Honestly, some of our best travel memories have been with a company called Tuktukrental.com. There’s something about driving a Tuktuk around a country… Probably the fact that its quite possible to break down (where the true adventure begins), that allows you to let go of expectations and really just go with the flow. You notice so much more on your journeys, interact with so many more locals and eat all the yummy local food. On top of that, Tuktuk Rental works with locals to give back to the community. If you are interested in checking them out (they are in Sri Lanka and Cambodia), you can also use code “DAVEMANI” to save on your booking!
Malaysia
From here we headed to Malaysia which was meant to be a slower paced country to be able to edit and catch up. We stayed in Kuala Lumpur and it was honestly so great, just what we needed. We ended up exploring more than we planned and even sneaked a them park in because Dave is a child!
Philippines
I think the coolest thing about this lifestyle is being able to share it with our families. In March, Davids dad actually came out to meet us in the Philippines to explore with us for a few weeks. This series is currently still coming out on YouTube so you are going to get the sneak peek here… We explored Manila, jumped off cliffs, swam with whale sharks, rode around on scooters and watched beautiful picturesque sunsets.

2 scooters and 3 happy riders in Puerto Princesa
Hong Kong
After the adventure packed trip in the Philippines, we made a last minute decision to do something we had been talking about for a couple years… we went to Hong Kong Disneyland! One of the reasons we wanted to go there is because it has Arendale in it, something the parks in the U.S. does not have. Oh and ps. If you are new here, we are HUGE Disney fans. This park is quite small compared to Florida and Tokyo but honestly, it beats Florida for me. Arendale was everything we hoped it would be; immersive and beautiful! Honestly, I could talk for hours about it but I won’t bore you, i understand it’s not everyone’s cup of tea. ;)
Thailand
And finally, Bangkok, Thailand! This was the second time we have been here and everytime I leave, I put it out to the universe that I would love to live there one day. We stayed purely in Bangkok this time as again, it was a catch up and edit trip so for 2 weeks we created a great little routine of work, the gym and great local food! If you haven’t watched that series start with this video here as we participated in the Thai New Year with some friends you might know! 🙂

The most fun we’ve had in a long time!
What’s Next?

Keep ready for a lot of good old safari content coming your way. From there we will be heading to Vietnam to meet Tracey’s parent for a very different kind of adventure. Stay posted!
