Happy New Year

2025 has been quite a year for us as it was officially our first year traveling full-time without having any other job other than content creation. This is a sentence I never thought I’d write but here we are. From Iceland to Afghanistan, we have filmed in 23 different countries, slept in over 100 different beds and took 45 flights.

Did we make money? No. Did we lose money while traveling the world for a full year? A little. Do we have any regrets? Of course not! We always said that if we have to go back to our 9 to 5 jobs after traveling the world for a couple of years because we couldn’t make enough money to sustain ourselves long term that we would do it. We are so fortunate to be in a position to do so right now and we are fully aware of this.

Now, the questions we have gotten over and over again since we started putting our lives on the internet 6 years ago, when will we have kids? The answer is that we are pretty much there but don’t want to put too much pressure on ourselves and hopefully let nature do its thing. We hope that everything will be fine but you never know what can happen in that department.

After spending a full month in Canada with our families, we finally booked our first trip of 2026 just a few days ago. We will be heading to Japan, a country we always wanted to visit even before starting to make travel vlogs. We will of course spend some time in Tokyo but we also want to show you some least visited parts of the country. For that, we will get a little camper van for an epic road trip which we cannot wait to share with you. After Japan, we are thinking about staying in the region for a bit and maybe visit South Korea and China before heading to Africa and eventually loop back in Canada for the summer. As someone who hates winter, let me tell you that Canada is much more fun when it’s 25°C compared to -25°C.
